Shopping in Larnaca 

Larnaca is a town which combines the modern and the traditional. Among the modern shops you can still find the old family-run businesses such as watchmakers and repairers, tailors, and even traditional shoemakers.

Visitors are particularly taken with the jewellery shops and watchmakers, many of which can be found on Ermou Street. The main market, selling fruit, vegetables, clothes, household items, and souvenirs is held every Sunday morning.

Ideal for holidaymakers who are self-catering, visitors can take advantage of the wide variety of food shops and mini-markets (among larger supermarkets) dotted around Larnaca town.

The two main shopping streets in Larnaca are Ermou Street and Zeonos Kitieos. The two streets meet at a point at one end forming an open triangle, linked in places by smaller side streets and tree-shaded courtyards.

There are many small craft shops and workshops in Larnaca and here you will find goods based on traditional methods of design and manufacture, such as; lace, ceramics, wooden products, silverware, leather, and basket-weaving.

Larger international clothing chains alongside a number of small shops can also be found at Stratigou Timaya Road, not far from the town centre.
